Albena is one of the most beautiful sea resorts on the Bulgarian seaside . Albena is the place where the sea meets the sand . The resort is a delight to people of all ages. With the sand lines, and the crystal sea, Albena offers a pleasure to every taste. Albena is situated only 30 km away from Bulgaria's sea capital Varna. The resort is remarkable for its 6-km long beach, picturesque hills with exciting views of the sea and the “Balata” National Reserve.

The Dobrich-Town municipality is located in the Dobrich district, which consists of eight municipalities: Dobrich-Town, Dobrich-Region, Balchik, Shabla, Kavarna, Tervel, General Toshevo and Kroushari. The municipality is situated in the Danube Hilly Plain upon the Dobrouja Plateau - 45 km away from Airport Varna and 35 km away from the Balchik Harbour. The town of Dobrich is the second largest economic centre in Northeast Bulgaria. The municipality's territory encompasses the town of Dobrich and the "Riltsi" district .

Varna's history goes back 2,500 years. It is now the 3rd largest city in Bulgaria. Its population is about 350,000. It lies on the coast of the Black Sea. It is not only a large port but also an important industrial, cultural and educational center. Varna is one of the largest centers in shipping and shipbuilding, banking and textiles. The town is also a significant tourist center with picturesque seaside resorts situated to the south and the north. Many foreign tourists on account of their beautiful scenery visit them. Varna is a center of education with its 5 universities, which attract young people from both Bulgaria and abroad. Every year Varna is a host of the International music and ballet festival, the International film festival, the festival of Bulgarian film, the folklore and the choir festivals.
